my new notetaking system is too new for anything like this yet, but in my head i live in a future where i have an actual file cabinet i can store old notes in, organized in file folders by topic, and it's a wonder <3

#N posts stuff #because i'm writing on loose leaf papers in a binder instead of bound notebooks it would be easy to remove sections as needed #eg) currently taking notes on Elementary but when i inevitably move my focus to something else #i could remove all Elementary notes from the binder and keep them in a folder for future reference w/o taking up space in th active book #all hypothetical at this point - i don't have enough notes like this yet to need it and i'm also at a stage in my life where i like #lol genuinely can't afford to spend money on the Folders let alone a satisfactory storage container for them but i can dream <3 #we have file cabinets at work and opening them is a very satisfying sensory feeling - the pull of the lock mechanism #and the glide of the drawer - the thought of having one for myself all dedicated to things i love is so :'3 #binder stuff
